Department of Finance is concerned with spending university budget approved by the Council of Ministers in accordance with the accepted accounting standards and regulations under instructions issued by the Ministry of Finance. It also prepares lists, budgets and the final accounting statements of the University at the end of each fiscal year to be included in the state budget.

Objectives and tasks:
  • Review of the money orders and off-cycle issuances of pay and making sure that they meet its regulations and procedures.
  • Coordination with the department of rewards regarding rewards of students.
  • Monthly matching of issued checks with statements of accounts of the bank.
  • Auditing salaries, wages and dues.
  • Following up letters of governmental and monitoring bodies and responding to them regarding the final accounting statements of the university or some financial matters related to coordination with various departments of the university.
