The Department of Physical Therapy Sciences at the College of Applied Medical Sciences at Najran University offers four specialized rehabilitation programs:
- Physical Therapy Program
- Occupational Therapy Program
- Respiratory Therapy Program
- Speech and Hearing Disorders Program
Among these, the Physical Therapy Program is the only active program, while the other programs are still under development.

Physical therapy is considered one of the most important modern medical sciences, playing a vital role in treating various diseases across multiple medical specialties. It is based on well-studied scientific principles and has wide clinical applications. Physical therapists are trained to provide services to various segments of society. The field of physical therapy is divided into several specialized branches, enabling physical therapists to treat different conditions, such as musculoskeletal disorders, neurological disorders, and cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. Physical therapy services also include care for children with special needs, the elderly, internal diseases, burns, and rehabilitation after surgeries.
