The Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Bandar Al-Shahri, launched the World Radiology Day event organized by the College of Applied Medical Sciences, represented by the Department of Radiology, at the college's lobby.
The event included informational booths about the Radiological Sciences Department, where students of the college provided an overview of radiology, its equipment, and various medical imaging techniques.
The event also featured a booth showcasing global companies in the field of diagnostic radiology, presenting the latest advancements in medical imaging, in addition to a special booth for the Health Volunteer Management and another for the Najran Health Cluster, as well as a booth for the University Hospital and other booths for hospitals and health centers in Najran.
Furthermore, the event included two scientific lectures on radiological sciences, presented by Dr. Abdullah Al-Asimi and Dr. Wael Faqih, held at the college's theater, with over 200 students in attendance. The Dean of the College, Dr. Adel Al-Shahrani, stated that celebrating such events is an opportunity to introduce scientific disciplines and actively contribute to enhancing the college's role in the community.
