"Awareness Campaign for Smoking Cessation: 'Let It Breathe'" - College of Applied Medical Sciences
The Vice President for Educational Affairs launched the awareness campaign for smoking cessation, in which the College of Applied Medical Sciences participated through student clubs, as well as the Student Activities and Community Service Units, aiming to raise awareness about the dangers of smoking.
The campaign included specialized sessions on exercises for healthy and damaged lungs, in addition to explaining the negative effects of smoking on DNA and the harmful changes that occur at the cellular level.
