Early detection of breast cancer awareness corner at the College of Education - College of Applied Medical Sciences
In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the College of Applied Medical Sciences held an awareness and educational corner on early detection of breast cancer under the slogan #Your_Ranker_Pink at the College of Education, in cooperation with the Cancer Patients Association in Najran, the Radiology Club, and the Physiotherapy Club. These activities aim to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer and means of prevention.
A lecture was given on bone pain associated with breast cancer patients and how to deal with it, discussing the causes of breast cancer, preventive measures, how to do a self-examination, and general guidelines to avoid cancer in general.
The College Vice Dean, Dr. Nouf Al-Otaibi, also passed by and welcomed the students and discussed with them the effectiveness of the symposium, their participation, and their benefit. She welcomed everyone while taking memorial photos. Memos were also written on a memorial board by the Vice Dean, faculty members, and students, and group photos were taken for everyone..
